FAQ
Do you have a business storefront?
We are specifically a mobile business and do not have a physical store to visit. We come to you. There are websites where our business listing is accompanied with a map. They are simply depicting a location relative to our home base. The best way experience what we have to offer is to visit us in person. Our Events page lists our currently scheduled appearances and we would be happy to talk to you about being a part of your next party or event entertainment.
What if I want just a single tattoo?
We only sell individual tattoos at public events such as the flea market or seasonal festivals we plan to attend. The price per tattoo could range from $4 to $15 dollars depending on size. Please see out events page for upcoming events.
How many tattoo designs do you offer?
We offer over 800 designs to choose from including licensed Warner Brothers, Batman, Superman, and Supergirl Temporary Airbrush Tattoos. The wide selection can accomodate all age groups.
How long does it take to spray one Airbrush Tattoo?
It usually takes about 2 to 3 minutes on average depending on the size and number of colors used.
Does it hurt?
Unlike real tattoos, temporary tattoos are painless and have been described as a “cool tickle” or as someone was blowing cool air through a straw on your skin.
How long before they are dry?
They are dry immediately.
How long do the tattoos last?
It really depends on your skin type (oily/dry), placement of the design, humidity, contact with clothing objects, how much you may perspire, how careful you, and how well you take care of the tattoo. Each person is different. Usually, airbrush tattoos last on average 2 to 7 days. Legs in general last the longest, then arms, then back, and then chest/stomach. Oily skin and perspiration will cause the tattoo to come off faster than normal to dry skin. Furthermore it is not recommended that the tattoo be placed directly under tight clothing or too close to joints. Since this is body paint applied to the top of the skin, any extreme movement of your skin surface (eg. too close to wrist or elbow) will give the appearance of cracking paint and ultimately cause the tattoo to degrade faster. If you are wearing a wet t-shirt or bathing suit, for example, avoid placing the tattoo directly under wet clothing as it will just wear off sooner. We have had some customers whose tattoos have lasted 7 days, but on average 2-5 days is not uncommon.
How many colors of ink do you offer?
We have eleven (11) colors (Black, Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, White, Pink, True Blue, Purple, Orange, Brown), but by blending and shading you can produce an endless array of color possibilities (eg. Light Purple, Dark Purple, Light Green, Dark Brown, etc.) We then finish with an invisible clear coat.
How do you make the airbrush tattoo last longer?
We apply an invisible clear coat which protects the airbrush tattoo making it waterproof. It is the only skin safe clear coat available on the market. Be wary of other airbrush tattoo vendors that do not take this extra step on each and every temporary tattoo applied. This is one reason they last longer and puts us in a class above all others. To finish, we lightly brush with baby powder (talcum powder) to set it and ensure removal of any excess moisture. It is recommended to use airbrush tattoo finishing powder after each exposure to water to increase the life of the temporary tattoo.
Are the tattoos waterproof?
Yes, our temporary airbrush tattoos are waterproof, however you must take care of them.
How many colors of glitter to you offer?
We offer 6 Body Shimmers (Red, Aqua, Sky Blue, Lavender, Pink, and Gold). Otherwise known as glitter. We do not use any adhesive to apply. We apply the glitter between two clear coats to seal it in place and it is available at no extra charge!
How do you take care of them?
- avoid oils, lotions, alcohol, and soaps
- avoid scrubbing and rubbing
- keep tight clothing from rubbing on tattoo
- allow design to air dry or gently pat dry
- powder before sleeping and after bathing
- to remove use rubbing alcohol or baby oil
- do not shave over tattoo
Airbrush temporary tattoos are designed for fun and we hope that our customers take it as such. However, please keep in mind that the airbrush tattoos are painted on the skin. Although the paint is waterproof, this paint sits on the top of the skin and is subject to rubbing of any kind. This includes but is not limited to clothes, towels, car seats, tubes on rides, scratching, rubbing of any type and sleeping.
Overly dry and oily skin can decrease the life of the tattoo as can sweating. These are things that we cannot control. Although 90-95% of our customers do not have any problems, please ask your tattoo artist for company touch up and replacement policies. The best places to put an airbrush tattoo are the arms and the legs. However, this does not guarantee duration. Our paint is composed of FDA approved ingredients. It does not stain the skin.
How do you take them off?
Rubbing alcohol or baby oil. Rubbing alcohol takes them off immediately.
Is it safe?
The body paints are made with all FDA approved non-toxic ingredients and made in the USA. Alcohol is the most possibly irritating ingredient although we have NEVER even heard of any problems with any of our tattoos. Care is taken when applying airbrush tattoos to always avoid the face and eyes as body paint used is not meant for those areas.
EnduraColor airbrush tattoo inks are used by America’s top water parks providing you with an assurance of excellent reliability and durability.
Is this Henna?
No. Henna tattoos are nonpermanent dying or staining on the top layer of skin using a henna paste product, the process is called Mehndi. Henna paste is not FDA approved in the United States, it is only approved as a form of hair dye. Some people are prone to allergic reactions to henna paste. Henna tattoos are also close to impossible to remove except through the natural fading. However, airbrush temporary tattoos sit on top of your skin, do not stain your skin, use FDA approved ingredients and can be removed immediately.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are insured by one of the most respected names in Artist Insurance, Specialty Insurance Agency.
