On the last day of the festival we arrived bright and early after a short night’s sleep. Fortunately, the booth next to us did not show up, so we were allowed to spread out a bit more providing better visibility. I think the best part about our booth location was near the main stage area and provided great jazz music all day long. The music was playing, the weather was perfect and we were ready to make some new acquaintances.

I feel pretty fortunate that we were available to cater to the adolescence, pre-teen, and teen age groups. I am sure they were happy to see something they would love to have and show off. My step-son Robert was there working the event and got the opportunity to meet a lot of you and help out when there were those of you in line waiting your turn.

But temporary airbrush tattoos are not always for kids. This weekend we covered quite the age range. Although we have applied temporary tattoos on kids as young at 1 1/2 years, today we made one 7 month old little boy look pretty tough for his papa. Don’t believe me?, just check out today’s photos. No matter how you refer to them; fake tattoos, temporary tattoos, or even fashion tattoos as I like to call them, they are enjoyed by people of all ages and walks of life.

First, I would like to say thank you so much to Karla’s co-worker Sean and his daughter Maria. It means a lot to us that you came down to support us at the festival. I would like to say hello and thanks to Lisa (a food vendor at the festival) who got a beautiful butterfly tattoo with tribal design. She offered some good information about the festival world and I will take it to heart. Hello to both Summer and her sleeping daughter from San Francisco, CA. Yep, she was asleep during the entire process. Mommy picked out a cute little colorful fish to put on her arm. Her daughter loves tattoos and she will definitely be one happy girl when she wakes up. What’s designs were most asked for? I think today’s popular requests were for Batman®, butterflies and flowers. If you check out our photo section, you will see that butterflies are the most colorful designs, with or without glitter.

As the day comes to an end, we bid farewell to this year’s festival. I would like give special thanks to Myra, a key event coordinator, for all her assistance to make our first Jazz Festival go smoothly. We hope to return again next year.

Don’t forget to check out our Event page to see where we will be next. See you next time.
