Letters, We’ve Got Letters

Our season of relatively good airbrush tattoo weather might be coming to an end as I can foresee  a few cold and wet days ahead. Today we had clear sunny skies in the mid 60′s and at one point I had to put on some sun block so the direct sunlight wouldn’t give me a sunburn. Yeah, no kidding. Now we had never been located at the D Street location before, but expected the Crafter’s Holiday Faire being held in the Pavilion would bring quite a bit of business down our street to get to the entrance of the pavilion.

We did see a lot of foot traffic and surprisingly enough many customers asked the same question, “Do you have letters?”. Of course we do, and we have some photos to prove it. Lettering is so popular that we offer a special  ”Buy three letters and get the fourth one free” deal. Simply check out our picture gallery for more. I would also like to give special thanks to the four employees of the Flea Market that stopped by and purchased some temporary tattoos.

Next weekend we will be back under the Pavilion facing the front of the Flea Market. If you are interested, please view our event page for specific booth location details.

Good Friends, Old Friends, And New Friends

2009 November 8
"Superman" The Man of Steel

"Superman" The Man of Steel

There are good friends that remember you, old friends who you remember, and you will always make new friends.

Today my good friends Todd and Susan surprised me by stopping by to visit. They are such good friends that they were also present to support us on opening day with their two kids Jason & Jordyn. It was sure nice to get a chance to catch up and see them in person, especially since Susan in now expecting. Can you say “Baby Onboard“? But before they had to leave, Todd played guest artist and gave me a scorpion tattoo on my arm that I promptly showed off to my potential customers. It seemed that from that point on, a beautiful, pleasant and sunny day presented itself and customers started to pour in. How’s that for positive energy.

I would like to say hello to Jose and his dad. He is a repeat customer of Elite Airbrush Tattoo. Previously he selected a NorCal Star. This time he wanted something that would make a stronger statement. The next thing you knew he had his sights set on a barbed wire armband. Most people who choose to get barbed wire tattoos do so because they want to portray strength and tough attitudes. I think he just wanted something cool, especially since he is just 13 years old and is still in elementary school. Please come back again Jose.

We also met a lot of new friends today. Hector and Lisa, Carina and Mayra, and Anthony the hair design guy from San Jose. You know, the guy who can shave awesome designs in your crew cut. I have always wondered who does that sort of thing, now I do. Be sure to check out his hair design skills yourself. This was just a small list of new friends we made and we hope they will be return customers in the future.

Did you say Party? Elite Airbrush Tattoo would love to be invited to your next party as entertainment for your guests. Please feel free to pass along information about our services to your friends. We believe that airbrush temporary tattoos are good, clean, family entertainment and a great entertainment value. We hope you do too. Please read our Services page for more information on our offerings.

It’s Deja Vu All Over Again

Skull on Skull Tattoo

As we move into the colder months, weather patterns become a bit unpredictable. Although this weekend is a bit on the cool side, we still have sunny skies and pleasant weather thanks to the many microclimates in the Bay Area. What has become predictable is the number of people who shop at the flea market on Saturday’s. It seems that no matter where we are located, we get the opportunity to meet about the same number of customers.

Nelson, the drummer of the cover band Old Coal stopped by with his kids and wanted to add a few tattoos for a gig he’s playing tonight. Nelson described his band as a cover band for all other cover bands. How can you go wrong with that tagline. Have fun at your gig Nelson and hope your surprise stays under wraps until the right moment. Please say hello to “Mo” for me. I also hope to see all of you again in the near future.

For those of you that like to sleep in on Sundays I got news for you, it’s overrated. Get out of bed and come on down to the flea market, find some deals, get fresh produce and a tattoo to go. Check out our events page for list of planned appearances.

One Sweet November Afternoon

2009 November 1

Jessica's Ladybug Tattoo

Jessica's Ladybug Tattoo

The thought of it being the month of November makes me think of cold and windy days, but that just not the case. After a night of collecting sweet treats for some, today has turned out to be a sweet surprise for others. It is a beautiful sunny mid-70′s day without a cloud in the sky. Business started to pickup around noon and we had a steady stream of customers. Having a corner spot with view of the playground certainly helped to entertain whether they were getting temp tattoos themselves or just enjoyed watching. Either way, I had fun and enjoyed the opportunity to show everyone what we have to offer.

Just a friendly reminder that we are available as entertainment at your next party. Pricing is based on number of hours you desire. During that time period we apply as many tattoos as we can and guests can choose from all of our designs. If you are looking to entertain 20-30 kids or more, our services are quite cost effective. With just 25 days left till Thanksgiving and just under 53 days until Christmas, there are many party and event opportunities. Keep us in mind.

Thanks for visiting our booth this weekend. If you missed us or would like to get another airbrush tattoo. Bring your family and your friends next week. We will be located in the same location right next to the playground. Don’t forget.
