Great Family Deal

We have had many requests for Old English lettering that was somewhere between a small and large size. Well, today was the day that Elite Airbrush Tattoo debuted the Medium Size Old English Lettering. It is available in both Capital and Lowercase letters and is definitely a much better fit for most customers. No matter what size of lettering was used, customers requested names such as Macias, Martinez, Jimenez, Saenz, and of course Bambi to have airbrush tattooed on their arms.

Tomorrow we are expecting foot traffic to be a much heavier and hope that people take notice of our new setup. Since we are in the center aisle, we chose to open up both ends of the canopy and align the banners parallel to each other. This configuration allows customers from either side of the aisle to walk into and through our booth. It was a little different to get used to at first, but allows for maximum exposure. Picture Perfect Dragon Tattoo

A cool start is quite an understatement. It was about 50 degrees when I got to the flea market to setup. So cold I could see my warm breath and people were bundled up like it was winter. By 10am the sun burned away the cold cloudy weather and the warm sunny weather beat down on my back. It felt good. From that point on, there were many people, lots of tattoos (both real and airbrushed by your’s truly), and temperatures in the low 70′s. Even as I sit down to write this blog entry, I feel the effects of not putting on sun block. You would think that I would have learned by now.

I also got a couple of visits from family and friends. My brother-in-law Richard stopped by to see me and asked if I needed anything. Thank you for thinking of me. Hey Richard, maybe next time you could bring my nephews Joshua and Noah along too. I also was visited by his neighbors Mike, wife Sasha, and kids Natasha and Mikey. By then I was pretty busy with customers and the visit was short lived. Please come back again next week so we can get the family hooked up with some airbrush tattoos.

I also wanted to say hello to my new friend Jose. He took the time to visit this website and make a comment. Thanks so much and I am really happy you are enjoying your black and purple NorCal star tattoo. Please come back again and bring your dad with you.

Congratulations Anna!

This private event was in celebration of Anna’s Bat Mitzvah. Elite Airbrush Tattoo was very excited to have the opportunity to participate in the evenings festivities. There was food, a DJ, face painting and about 50-60 very anxious teenagers who couldn’t wait to get their fill of temporary tattoos.

Robert and I were busy applying tattoos non-stop during the party. Although photos were not our goal, I was able to snap a few to give a sense of the party ambiance (see Photos page). The kids really loved their airbrush tattoos and had a great time. Thanks goes out to Anna, her mom Lisa, and all of her party guests.

Trail of Stars

One more exclusive design has made it’s way to the Elite Airbrush Tattoo collection. This tattoo design got it’s start by a customer who wanted a custom alternating star pattern as an anklet tattoo. It actually turned out quite nice (see Star Anklet photo) and I immediately had it created as a template. Today, a young lady decided to take it up a notch and asked me to use that design pattern and create a trail of stars on her leg. Well as you can see (see photo inset), it is a very colorful temporary tattoo. Sometimes you got it think outside the box.

I would like to say hello to Gustavo, brother Luis, and his cousin Ivan. Gustavo and Ivan’s mom is selling Tupperware just a few spaces away from me. Once Gustavo got one, they all had to get one. Kids love tattoos.

Because of the chilly weather we experienced this morning, things did not pick up until noon. To top it off, we had to pack up early to attend a private party we booked for the evening. We know some customers were sorry to see us leave, but promised we would be back tomorrow.
