How long do temporary tattoos last? That is the most common question customers ask. Temporary tattoos can last up to 7 days depending on placement, skin type, and how well you take care of it. Yes it’s waterproof for a period of time and we want you to take regular showers, but don’t soak in hot water or use any type of lotions or alcohol based products such as perfumes on or near the temporary tattoo. Just use your common sense. If you happen to be the type of person who perspires more than the average person, they may not last long at all. That is why it is important to keep the area dry as possible. Just apply baby powder often to get the most out of your temporary tattoo. So how to make temporary tattoos last forever? That’s an easy question to answer. Simply take a photo.
As an added bonus, we offer to take a photo of you with your new tattoo. We then post that photo on our website that following evening allowing you to download for use wherever you want. Show off your tattoo photo on Facebook or MySpace, put it directly on a T-Shirt and purchase for a loved one, or display on the refrigerator or use as your computer desktop background. The photo is also free. It’s our way of saying thanks for choosing Elite Airbrush Tattoo. We now have over 1500 photos online. Check them out here.
We were at the San Jose Flea Market this weekend and although there wasn’t a lot of people shopping, I feel that my location had something to do with it. Don’t worry, as I have been lucky enough to get my regular spot again for next week in The Pavilion and look forward to being in a well traveled location known by my loyal customers.
Over the summer I have got a lot of inquires to get different cross design in multiple shapes and sizes. I am planning to take those suggestions and get a couple of them made this week. To start, I want to get a smaller version of the most popular cross, as well as my new version which I call the Fleur Cross. So plan on visiting next weekend to check out the new designs.
As we prepare for the inevitable end of summer, there are only a few more weekends we plan on being at the Flea Market. Currently our company marketing is word of mouth and hope that our business card is getting into the right hands. If you enjoyed your experience, we encourage you to tell everyone you know about us and what we do. Just remember that temporary tattoos are fun for all ages. Please give us a call and let us help plan your next event.
Bright blue skies and warm weather brought the crowds to the Flea Market this Labor Day weekend. There were a lot of tattoo designs that everyone just had to have. Mose popular designs included crosses, hearts, flowers, and of course anything with stars. I have got a lot of inquires to get crosses in all shapes and sizes. I am planning to get them made as soon as possible.
There were also a lot of families who dropped in to get temporary tattoos. Sometimes each member of the entire family would get there own tattoo. Families are my favorite type of customers. It is fun to work with each one of the kids, taking interest in them and giving them opportunity to choose their own colors makes them very happy. Believe it or not, but some of the younger kids know exactly what they want and are very specific. All of which makes the entire experience more fun. Sometimes and get an awesome photo to accompany the memory. In fact, the combination of airbrush temporary tattoo and photography is what I enjoy most. Not just taking a photo of the customer, but capturing the excitement of the moment in the photo journalistic style is what really makes my day (see photo inset “Happiest Kid Ever”.
Next week we are changing locations and will be on the other side of the flea market next to the kids playground. We will be located at E Street and 4th-337. Just look for the 15ft high blue flag. Make sure you check out this weeks photos. See you next time.

We just finished the Children’s Summer Funfest 2010 and we are so happy we were a part of the fun. There was so many people and enjoyed meeting everyone. There were some great vendors at the event and I would like to mention just a few of them. In front of us was Current Moves owned by Dedrick. His shop sells 100% Electric Scooters, Bikes, and Mopeds. Check them out, they can save you so much money. Next to us was the Reptile Petting Zoo by My Pony Party who entertained kids with iguanas and a multitude of snakes.
Then there was Back Yard Flicks outdoor cinema. They offer many different sizes of outdoor movie and entertainment packages to make your next block party a big hit. On stage near us was a variety of kid friendly entertainers such as a magician Trevor Wyatt, pre-tween band Bay Area Girls, Mariachi San Jose, and of course Radio Disney.
We want to thank everyone for coming in to support us and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Until then, please check out the photos and our upcoming event schedule.
